Northlight

Lancashire Adult Learning / Nelson and Colne College

This former cotton mill built in 1832 is now the home for Lancashire Adult Learning. Lancashire Adult Learning aims to provide learning opportunities for adults across the region with the Northlight building providing a fantastic facility for learning to take place. Located in Brierfield, Nelson, close to junction 12 of the M65 and easily accessible from Burnley and the surrounding areas of Colne, Clitheroe, Blackburn and Preston.

We have a range of training, conference and meeting rooms that are available to hire, in this new modern centre with a staffed reception area and facilities for light refreshments. The rooms range from small interview rooms to larger rooms which can be used for team workshops or small conferences. All rooms can be configured to suit any kind event. With full multimedia facilities and a separate IT training suite Northlight offers a great venue for hosting a meeting, workshop, conference or training event.
