We have developed this Social Value Toolkit to support organisations to maximise social value through the procurement and commissioning of Lancashire Enterprise Partnership (LEP) programmes. The LEP and its partners share a responsibility to ensure that public money delivers better social, environmental and economic outcomes.
Our toolkit encourages and supports organisations delivering LEP programmes to increase social value through procurement and commissioning processes. It is a practical guide to integrating added value outputs and outcomes, providing a framework of indicative activities and also good practice case studies.
The toolkit has been mapped to the priorities of the Lancashire Employment and Skills Strategic Framework:
- Future Workforce
- Skilled and Productive Workforce
- Inclusive Workforce
- Community Engagement
The toolkit has been designed to complement the major investment in Lancashire’s skills infrastructure to address current and emerging business demands.
