Principal and Chief Executive of Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC)
Bev Robinson joined B&FC as Principal and Chief Executive in May 2013. Bev has extensive experience in higher technical and professional education. She was a member of the Independent Review Panel for Technical and Professional Education chaired by Lord Sainsbury. Bev serves on the Lancashire LEP Skills and Employment Board, the Centre for Vocational Education Research (CVER) Steering Group in the London School of Economics and Political Science and is a non-executive director and chair of the Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre Economic Development Company.
Judged by Ofsted as outstanding and QAA commended, B&FC is recognised as one of the UK’s leading Further Education colleges and is one of the major employers in the Fylde. B&FC recently won the Queen’s Anniversary Prize for its work with employers to co-create bespoke degree level skill solutions. B&FC is the co-owner of the National College Onshore Oil and Gas in partnership with industry.
