Charlie Briggs is the Leader of Burnley Borough Council and Ward Councillor for Gannow Ward. He has been a Councillor for over 12 years and previously served as Council Leader from 20th May 2010 to 17th May 2012.

Charlie is the Director of B & M Engineering Suppliers Ltd and has run this successful bakery engineering business for over 19 years.

Charlie is passionate about young people being ambitious and aspiring to be the best they can.

Charlie is the lead Councillor representative for the All Age Skills, Education & Employment theme for Lancashire Leaders.
