Dominic Martinez

Technical Education - Project Officer

Dominic is our Technical Education Project Officer who started working at the Lancashire Skills and Employment Hub in August 2018. His position is funded by the Gatsby Charitable Foundation who he also works directly for, for 2 days a week on national Gatsby initiatives. In Lancashire, Dominic with Janet Jackson, is responsible for the implementation of Lancashire’s Technical Education Vision and currently spending much of his time helping providers and employers implement the new T level qualifications in Construction, Digital, Education & Childcare and Health & Science.

Dominic has over 20 years’ experience in Project Management mainly in the Higher Education sector working on employability and enterprise projects. During his career he has also secured millions of pounds of funding for capital and revenue projects across a wide portfolio for the organisations he has worked for. Dominic has 10 years’ experience working in the private sector in social media and journal publishing industries most recently running his own successful media agency.
