As an employer, for over fifteen years in two regional companies, and having started his career as an apprentice, Paul has gained experience first-hand of the benefits of apprenticeships. With over 30 years’ experience across construction, logistics and education, Paul has a wide ranging knowledge but also an understanding of the needs and pressures of employers.
Having joined the Employment and Skills Hub in 2022, Paul is co-ordinating the Young Apprenticeship Grant which is Part of the Lancashire Economic Recovery and Growth Fund. The Lancashire County Council offer is targeting SME’s in the manufacturing sector who have not previously employed apprentices or have not done so in the last two years.
