Connect to Work – Residents
I live in Lancashire and need help to find or stay in work.
Connect to Work is a free service that can help you find or keep a job that’s right for you
We want to offer the best support to people who want to join Connect to Work. To do this well, we are starting slowly and will grow the service over the next few months. This means that some people or areas might not get the full support straight away. We’re working hard to reach everyone, and we plan to have full support ready soon.
If you’d like support, just click the button below. Someone from our team will get in touch to talk about what help is right for you, and when we can support you.

How we can help you:
● We’ll help you find the right job by focusing on your strengths.
● We’ll get you into paid work quickly and help you keep it.
● We’ll support you if you are currently working and struggling to keep your job.
● We’ll work with an employer to make sure you get the support you need.
● We’ll work closely with health teams to make sure you get joined-up support for your health, wellbeing and your job.

Is Connect to Work right for you?
Connect to Work
Connect to Work supports people who need intensive support to find and stay in work. This could be due to a disability, long-term health condition or having multiple barriers to employment. You can get help for up to 12 months from an expert. They will work with you one-to-one to help you find work.
WorkWell
WorkWell supports people with mild physical or mental health problems to get back into work or stay in work. They offer short-term support from specialist coaches if you need a little extra help.
IPS Severe Mental Illness
If you have a severe mental health condition, you can get help to find a paid job through IPS. Support is available if you want to work but your mental health makes your life much harder or stops you from doing important things.
This is a free service funded by the NHS that can work with you one-to-one. You can get help if you live anywhere in Lancashire or South Cumbria.
Talking Therapies
Talking Therapies is a free NHS service that helps people who feel anxious, stressed or low. This includes OCD, PTSD and panic disorders. They offer different types of therapy depending on what support you need.
You can refer yourself and talk to someone by phone, online or in person. Employment Advisors work with the therapists and can help you stay in your job or find work.
Social Prescribers
Social prescribers help people find support in their community to improve their health and wellbeing. They listen to what matters to you and can connect you with activities, groups or services like exercise classes, mental health support or help with money and housing. They can also help you to find support for work or skills.
This support is not medical, but it can make a big difference in how you feel day to day. Speak to your GP or search online if you’d like to find out more.
Escalate
Not sure what help you need? Escalate is a simple tool that can help. It connects people who are not working with the right support in their area. This could be help with finding a job, learning new skills, or getting other support.
