Lancashire Skills Pledge Launch Event

June 20th 2018 | Preston Marriott Hotel, Garstang Road, Preston, PR3 5JB. The event will commence at 8:00am with breakfast and networking and will finish at 10:30am.

Find out how your business can benefit by investing in skills and training and contribute to the overall economic growth of Lancashire. The Lancashire Enterprise Partnership Skills Pledge seeks to support businesses by providing information and signposting to relevant initiatives locally and giving recognition to those who are already engaged.

We have 5 pledges:

  1. Pledge to upskill and train your staff
  2. Pledge to take on an Apprentice
  3. Pledge to become an Employer Apprenticeship Ambassador and/or support an Apprentice to become and Apprenticeship Ambassador
  4. Pledge to support unemployed people into work
  5. Pledge to get involved in the Lancashire Enterprise Adviser Network

The Skills Pledge portal will provide one point of contact for you to find out more about skills and training initiatives and to record that commitment.

Employers who sign up to the pledge(s) will receive a certificate which can be displayed in your business. You will also be able to use the ‘skills pledge logo’ on stationery and public facing materials to share your commitment with others.

Find out more about the Lancashire Skills Pledge Pilot by attending our breakfast event being held on June 20th at the Marriott Preston.

Book your place using Eventbrite.
