Skills Bootcamps
Skills Bootcamps are intensive and flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector specific skills and fast track to an interview with a local employer.
Designed with employers, participants will gain the in-demand skills to move into or progress in their chosen sector. Participants will be offered a GUARANTEED job interview upon completion.

Code Lancashire is a fully-funded Skills Bootcamp aimed at addressing the Software Developer skills shortage seen within Lancashire. It includes 60 hours of guided learning hours for technical skills in coding and programming plus a further 25 hours of employability workshops and one-to-one mentoring, with a guaranteed interview on completion.
The programme is delivered over 12-weeks with workshop session held on Mon-Wed-Fri evenings between 5pm until 8pm (technical workshops) and 5pm until 7pm (employability workshops). Sessions can also be accessed by attending the sessions and remotely through Zoom.
The technical skills workshops will focus on python as a language as well as basic principles. The aim is to get participants to a junior developer level and ready for employment.
The Curriculum – Developed in collaboration with our network of 250+ employers so we are confident that in just 12 weeks, you will become a junior full stack web developer capable of securing roles as a Software Developer, Games Developer, Web Developer, Applications Developer, Mobile App Developer or Software Tester.
