Skills and Economic Intelligence Officer

Dave joined the Lancashire Skills Hub in July 2025 and is part of the data team that is responsible for collecting, enhancing and analysing data concerning skills, employment, and the wider economy in Lancashire.

Prior to this, Dave had more than two decades of experience primarily in the mail order retail sector, where he helped to implement CRM platforms to harness data for driving strategic marketing activity. This included segmenting customer groups, and developing campaigns to improve engagement, which in turn helped to boost sales performance and strengthen loyalty.

In his spare time, Dave is a football fan, first and foremost, and as well as attending matches, enjoys compiling stats and to share this knowledge via podcasts. His other interests include cinema, cooking, and genealogy.
