Peter Griffiths

Peter joined Lancashire Skills Hub in May 2026 and is supporting the Work Well programme which provides help for people in Lancashire who are facing physical or mental health challenges which are affecting their ability to work or to stay in work.

Prior to working for the Lancashire Skills Hub Peter had over 15 years of experience as Head of Department in a Further Education college, also completing a Masters in Leadership in Education whilst undertaking this role. He has also worked as a programme manager for the Changing Futures programme in Lancashire, and commissioning manager for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund at Preston City Council.

Peter loves travel and is also a keen runner and cyclist. He also loves to spend time with his family having recently become a father for the fourth time.
