Samuel is a Skills and Economic Intelligence Officer with a background in business intelligence, data analytics, research, and performance management. In his current role, he supports the development of evidence-based skills and employment initiatives by analysing labour market intelligence, economic trends, and workforce data to help shape local skills provision and strategic decision-making.
Before joining the Skills Hub, Samuel built over a decade of experience in business intelligence and analytics, holding senior data and insight roles across the technology, logistics, and e-commerce sectors. His previous positions included People Insights Analyst role, Business Intelligence Manager at Shuttlers and several analytical and operational leadership roles with Jumia Group. Throughout his career, he has specialised in transforming complex data into actionable insights that improve performance, support growth, and inform strategic planning.
Samuel is passionate about using data and intelligence to support economic development, improve outcomes for residents and businesses, and help ensure the local workforce has the skills needed for future opportunities.
