Project Officer - Adults Skills Fund

Diane joined the Lancashire Adult Skills Fund team as a Project Officer – Adult Skills in July 2026. In her role, Diane supports the planning, delivery and performance management of publicly funded adult skills provision across Lancashire. She works closely with funded providers to monitor learner outcomes, performance and financial delivery, helping to ensure programmes meet agreed targets and provide positive opportunities for Lancashire residents.

Prior to joining the Adult Skills team, Diane enjoyed a successful 33-year career in education with Lancashire County Council, including 11 years serving as a Primary School Headteacher. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about supporting learning, development and achievement, helping children, families and communities to reach their full potential. Diane brings a wealth of leadership, educational and partnership-working experience to her current role, with a strong commitment to improving outcomes through high-quality learning opportunities.
